Two Ka-32 Helicopters Ready for Oprational in February 2020

The KA-32 disaster relief helicopter will be ready for a full-scale mission in February 2020.

Helicopter procurement project of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Ministry of the Interior is a collaboration between the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and the Army. In which the Army is responsible for the aviation personnel flying operations and a storage location, Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation responsible for helicopter procurement budget and for logistics and training.


Currently, both KA-32 helicopters are stationed in the 41st Aviation Battalion, Department of Aviation, Army Aviation Center, and is undergoing training to increase expertise in using special equipment for aircraft personnel.
