According to information from the manufacturer, the versatile Damen Roro 5612 amphibious transport vessel has basic parameters including a length of 57.27 m; width of 12 m; amount of water expansion of 600 tons full load; maximum speed 10.4 knots/h.
Unlike conventional amphibious ships that can approach the coast to land, the Damen Roro 5612 is only capable of landing on the sea or at suitable dock positions due to its role in the shock force.
The design of the Damen Roro 5612 is suitable for transporting and supplying islands, it can carry light amphibious armored vehicles, ships that cannot carry tanks or armored vehicles, heavy steel.
