As a country with 90% of it's coastline facing towards one direction subjected to tension, the Vietnam People's Navy currently maintains the largest land-based coastal defense force in Southeast Asia with 10 batteries divided between 5 brigades.
5 Brigades are :-681st Coastal Missile Brigade - two batteries of K-300P Bastion-P
-682nd Coastal Missile Brigade - [CLASSIFIED]
-679th Coastal Missile Brigade - two batteries of 4K44 Redut-M
-680th Coastal Missile Brigade - two batteries of 4K51 Rubezh
-685th Coastal Missile Brigade - one battery of EXTRA, one battery of ACCULAR
This does not include normal conventional tube artillery also utilize for shore defense.
