I liked the Black Stride II Jacket I ordered the other week so much that I went back to order the Heathered Black. Here are some detail photos for those of you who own older Strides or are new to Strides (like me) and are in the market for a longer jacket. Unlike the Define, the Stride has roomy upper arms. I took a few measurements for you: the armpit to hem length in my size 12 is 19.75" and the length from the hood attachment point on the shoulder to hem length is 28.75". The pit to pit width measurement is 20". The jacket has double zippers. I've read criticism that the front pocket entry is a little small and I have to agree. Fortunately, there are two interior pockets, similar to the Define, which is where I stash my phone. The Heathered Black is super soft but I suspect it's the type of luon that tends to pill easily which is going to show up in the armpit area the most on this jacket. If you want a workhorse Stride that you are going to wear a ton I'd recommend the Black or Heathered Slate. I seem to remember people sizing down in this jacket but I want to layer under it so I am not. I hope lululemon makes more colors of these. I'm really glad lululemon brought these back.
Older Strides used to have a hood tie but those were removed because of a safety issue.

I also received the Hinshu Alpine White Multi Fast and Frees yesterday. They're super pretty and despite being backed in white, don't fade too much with stretch but I'm on the fence about keeping them. I tend to prefer floral patterns and I'm hoping that there will be F&Fs coming in the Spring Bloom Multi print. (Thanks to Ms. K. for her photo.)
The Chirasu Black print Aligns. The print has too much white for me.
